The Taco Terrier has a life span of 12 to 15 years, weighs in the neighbour of 7 ? 9 lbs, and is very affectionate towards people. Like the Fox Terrier and Chihuahua this bred does not shed much, and needs only occasional grooming. The Taco Terrier is highly trainable and generally quite well behaved. Once they are trained they are extremely obedient and intelligent breed. Like the Chihuahua it tends to bark at strangers and is therefore a good watchdog, but does not bark as much as the Chihuahua tends to. It is a great apartment dog, but also enjoys a daily walk, even a fairly long one.
